Description :
Prakalpa is a State level Competition organized by K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering and the ISTE Student Chapter — KJSCE since 2006. This year, Prakalpa includes Technical Paper Presentation (30th March) along with Working models exhibition (31st march).
• Technical Paper Presentation:
Papers can be presented on any of the following Interdisciplinary topics:-
1. Embedded systems.
2. Emerging trends in networking and wireless technology.
3. Information systems.
4. Energy management.
5. Green manufacturing.
6. Developments in agriculture and pharmaceutical industry.
7. Future trends in industrial and commodity markets.
Dates to remember:
— Last date for sending paper via e-mail in standard two column format (A4 size paper, 12 font size, Times New Roman) on or before March 12, 2012
— Announcement of accepted papers for presentation: 15 March 2012
— Payment of registration fee on or before March 20, 2012
— Detailed schedule of conference will be given in due course of time.
Prizes:
All the participants, who present their paper, will be awarded certificate of Participation. Best paper in each topic will be awarded with cash prize of Rs. 1000/-

— Announcement of accepted projects for competition: 15 March 2012
— Payment of registration fee on or before March 20, 2012
Prizes :
1.Cash prizes along with participation certificate will be given.
2.For the distribution of prizes, the projects will be classified into different categories (all rights reserved with organizers) and in each category there will be three cash prizes,
1st prize Rs. 3000 /-
2nd prize Rs.2000/-
3rd prize Rs. 1000 /-
Two consolation prizes Rs. 500/-
Winners:
• Registration Fee :
— Rs. 350/- per group for conference / project competition (other than KJSCE students)
— Rs. 200/- per group (KJSCE students).
Important NOTE :
1. Group of maximum 4 students are allowed.
2. Registration fees applies for Project Exhibition and Technical Paper Presentation individually.
3. It is inter college competition.
